Job Brief: BYD seeks a qualified Contract Administrator for commercial Electric Vehicles. BYD focuses on building and delivering the highest quality and highest reliability electric vehicles in the world. Job Description BYD is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator in Commercial and Contract in the commercial electric vehicle business in North America. The candidate will be based at BYD Pasadena office. In this role, the candidate will play a vital role in managing the lifecycle of our commercial vehicle contracts facing both public and private customers. This individual must be extremely organized with attention to detail, hardworking, multi-tasking and dedicated to providing the highest level of quality and timeliness in the industry. What You'll Do: * Manage the daily contract administrative tasks, including: * Processing and reviewing contract documents. * Tracking contract milestones and deadlines. * Maintaining accurate contract records and databases. * Preparing and coordinating contract amendments and modifications. * Communicating contract updates and changes to internal and external stakeholders. * Contract negotiation and drafting by: * Gathering and analyzing relevant information * Preparing contract summaries and reports * Identifying and addressing potential contractual issues * Liaising with legal department for guidance and support * Prepare, review and negotiate cost and price proposals. * Manage and maintain relationships with external and internal key stakeholders on the development and execution on each aspect of the standard and non-standard agreements. * Provide guidance to management and staff on contractual issues, including technical and commercial data. * Fulfill all proposal/contract action reporting requirements. * Stay informed of relevant legal and regulatory requirements impacting contracts. * Other duties as assigned. Requirements: * Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or related field. * Minimum Three Years’ experience in related industry. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Cross-Functional Team Collaboration * Multi-Tasking Capability * Strong Analytical Skill * Time Management Skill * Detail-oriented and highly accurate * Project Management experience preferred * Accounting experience preferred
